Weeks 7-12 Update (First Trimester)

Hello all! It has been so long..

Too long..

But here I am. Making a quick pregnancy update blog.

I haven’t written much about these past few weeks because, frankly, not much has changed. My fatigue has subsided, which is wonderful. My cravings have evened out, which is also amazing. I am no longer a maniac for anything and everything that can be eaten, nor do I need to be eating 24/7. I actually worked out this morning (yay, go me!) for the first time in weeks, because I actually had the energy to.

Oh! A pretty big change that’s occurred is that I’ve actually been allowing myself to drink caffeine. I know, I know, there is such a stigma with this during pregnancy, I get it. I avoided anything with even the slightest amount of caffeine early on, because I’d read so many negative things about it and pregnancy. Now that I’m nearing my second trimester, I feel more comfortable consuming a small amount. I try not to drink it every day, and when I do, I drink less than one cup, but I’m able to get the energy I need to write this blog post.

I’m currently in my 12th week of this wonderful pregnancy and am now past all of those icky first trimester symptoms. I feel okay, I don’t need to nap constantly, and can actually get things done. I feel like I’ve been neglecting my dear blog, but from this point on, I have no reason to!

    I never got my energy back. I was tired the ENTIRE time. Hopefully that isnt you too!
